Purpose of Preparatory Course

For successfully starting an apprenticeship in Germany, you need to be prepared perfectly. Apart from language skills and some basic knowledge required, intercultural skills and the ability to integrate into German society will play an important role.

By providing preparatory courses, we can make it easier for you to take up a professional training in Germany. In addition to a language immersion course, you will acquire basic knowledge for the respective professions you are interested in. Furthermore, you will gain an insight into everyday life in Germany and receive intercultural as well as application training.

Contents of Prep Course

German Language::

• Assessment and orientation
• General German language skills, grammar and vocabulary according to Level B1
• General German language skills, grammar and vocabulary according to Level B2
• German classes conveying basic technical knowledge and vocabulary relevant for your job

Intercultural Training:

• Politics in Democracy
• History and Particular Responsibility of Germany
• German Society

Vocational Prep Training:

• Business etiquette
• Communication at work
• Presentation training
• Application training
• „ How to start a vocational training successfully “

Requirements for International Applicants

• General school leaving certificate issued in your home country that can be recognized as a German Mittlerer Schulabschluss (intermediate school leaving certificate)
• or:  vocational training completed in your home country
• German language skills at least level A2
