Dual Training Excellence: Bavarian Companies Showcase Best Practices to Chinese Educators for In-Depth Insights into In-Company Training

On Monday, January 22, 2024, Eckert Schools International extended a warm welcome to 53 participants from Caofeidian College of Technology and Tangshan Maritime Institute/China for a week-long 'Train-the-Trainer' course at Regenstauf campus. They focused primarily on structure and implementation of vocational training in accordance with recognized German standards. In addition to various workshops, the training program also included two interesting excursions to HORSCH Maschinen GmbH in Schwandorf and INOTECH Kunststofftechnik GmbH in Nabburg.

HORSCH is a leading global manufacturer of innovative agricultural technology and modern solutions for tillage, sowing and plant protection. The Chinese excursion participants were first introduced to the company’s history, the comprehensive product portfolio and their international locations. Of particular interest to the Chinese guests was the fact that HORSCH is also active and represented in China. The Chinese teachers were enthusiastic about the possibilities of dual training and dual studies at HORSCH. The company is currently training apprentices in 13 different professions and is implementing dual training at a subsidiary in Brazil.

INOTECH has over 30 years of experience with plastics and is therefore an expert and system supplier in this field.  A team of around 500 employees in Germany, the Czech Republic and Bulgaria stands for outstanding and sustainable innovations. The specialists at INOTECH offer a sophisticated and self-contained value chain in the areas of product development, toolmaking, plastics technology, component finishing and special machine construction. The Chinese teachers really enjoyed the tour through the company, as they were able to experience the implementation of dual training at INOTECH in a very impressive way. This applies to all training occupations offered by INOTECH.

The Chinese guests concluded their visit to the Eckert Schools' campus in Regenstauf with an engaging and diverse cultural weekend program.
